Natural look

Image
Fall is here now and I've been seeing all these beautiful colours around the internet. For some reason I don't really feel like experimenting with them quite yet and have been really drawn to a more natural nail look that at the same time looks put together. I recently picked up this beautiful shear nail polish that gives me the exact look I want and have been enjoying wearing it with it's normal shiny finish and sometimes with a matte top coat. I do really think it looks good both ways but the matte look is just amazing! As usual here goes the polishes I used: Base coat: Kiko Jelly Jungle Strengthener Nail Base Main colour: Essie Limoscene Top coat: Essie Good to Go        /        Matte top coat: Barry M Matte - Topcoat PS: recently I did try a peel off base coat as I don't wear the nail polish for too long but the one I used completely ruined my nails. I might write about it sometime soon, maybe.

Made my own planner inserts!

Hey everyone, I know this is a bit off topic but I felt the need to share. 😅 Alongside my passion for nail polish I also have a special interest in stationary and most particularly in planners. Never had the time to dedicate to it, until now... I have created dated inserts for the whole year of 2019 to use in my planner. Each month starts with a monthly view followed by a week on two pages inserts. This is what works for me. Here are some pictures of the month of January as an example. These are all Personal size inserts. Whilst printing and cutting the ins...

Image
Hey everyone, In my search for new nail polishes and a way of providing my mum with a good and durable manicure (yes she's rubbish at it and a day later the polish is already chipped badly) I came across a little kit for a gel nail polish manicure at home. The price on Amazon wasn't too bad considering the products included and since I wanted it as an experience and a present for my mum I decided to try it. This particular kit included a portable LED lamp, samples (6ml) of a base coat and a non-wipe top coat, 6 different shades of gel nail polish (also 6mls each), a cuticle oil, double sided cuticle pusher, cuticle fork, polishing file, nail clippers, nail separators x2, a nail brush and a brush for your nail files, a nail buffer, 20 prep clean wraps and finally 50 mail remover wraps. A bargain!! I have tried almost all of these tools and can say they are really good quality. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the nail clippers and the cuticle oil are. I cannot give ...
